Face Mask Care
Masks are machine and dryer safe. We recommend that you wash your mask before use. When wearing the mask, it is very important for you to put it on and make sure you are comfortable with it before entering an area in which you will touch public surfaces. This may be done in your own home before you leave your house, or in your car before exiting the vehicle. This is to prevent contamination as once you touch a public surface, your hands can potentially harm you by picking up contaminants. Do not remove the mask until you wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap. Put the surgical mask into the wash immediately, the masks can be washed alone, or with other laundry, and then rewash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. After the dry cycle, pull the mask out, flatten the wire and reshape the mask to its original state.
If you do not flatten the mask after the dry cycle and the mask is extremely wrinkled, you can iron with the cotton setting on your iron, although this is not required, it may provide a tighter fit.
